Looks to have some potentially serious side effects, and I imagine they want to find out more.

Of course, many drugs have potentially serious side effects, so there you are.

They need to track down the original recipe for MDA which was much less speedy than MDMA. It was only around for a couple years in the late 60's -very early 70's.
