I keep getting these damn   tossed all over my post, even after I go in and remove them.  What gives?

It's the "non-breaking space" character. Are you using IE? Mikey is the other one that usually has them.

Yes, I do appear to be using Internet Explorer.  What causes it to be thrown in so randomly?  I also get strange spacings and "?" when there's supposed to be quotes.  I'm not technosavvy, so this really bugs me, when I literally go back to remove such random characters, and when I go back, I find others.  grrrrrr

The ? characters are because of your character mapping. The non-breaking spaces are probably being inserted because of a grammar checker.

Yet when I go back to take out such random errors, I frequently find more.  Perpetual problem, where I simply need to get over it?

You can fix it by using Firefox.
