Sounds good but they would never do it.

Finally you and I agree.

Obama will be history on Nov. 5th.

President John McCain will be too busy working for the people.

All they will really have to do is turn Bush & Cheney over to the Haque like Serbia did Milosevich and Karadzic.

I think it's a great start.  The first step in punishing crime is to recognize that a crime has been committed.   For years, we've been hearing all this crap about how they were just "unwitting victims" of "bad intel" when anybody with half a brain could see that the regular intelligence channels had been bypassed in favour of specially constructed back-channels that would produce intelligence made to order to justify the invasion that had already been decided on.

The continuing immunity to prosecution of the Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld-Rice-Powell-Wolfowicz-Feith-Perle team makes a total mockery of the Nuremburg Trials and the principles of international law that they established.  The fact that the Bush administration's death toll is still "only" in the hundreds of thousands whereas their Nazi mentors killed millions does not negate the basic legal principle that it is a capital crime to plan and wage wars of unprovoked aggression.

At least the idea is being floated.  Obama and Biden are on the right track.  Public opinion must be prepared for this, and it starts with calling a crime a crime, not a "tragic mistake."  Unfortunately, the International Court of Criminal Justice does not pronounce sentences of capital punishment, so Bush and his minions will never get the punishment they deserve, but whether or not an Obama-Biden administration will have the balls to set the international criminal court mechanism in motion, any steps they take in that direction can be picked up and followed upon by a succeeding administration until ultimately justice is done.  It did happen with Pinochet and it can happen with Bush too.  The first step is to label the crime a crime.  The second step is to defeat the war criminal-hillbilly team currently running in the Presidential election.
