I normally delete my texts  to save space ,since I`m a proud owner of those cheap free phones.
I can`t have too much crap in my phone.
and I find texting a creepy thing to have involved in a relationship.
It means somebody can reach you anywhere,anytime
burr.
I`m not alone in this I find

Well, when I was using SMS heavily for work, I had my Lifedrive (this was the days before my N800) periodically download all my SMS and delete them from my phone via Bluetooth. It's kind of a CYA move.
