With stakes high, Palin tops low expectations

That was a headline in the local paper the day after the VP debate. It was an AP article by Liz Sidoti. My favorite paragraph:

While both vice presidential candidates succeeded iin their only debate of the campaign Thursday night, the stakes were much higher and the bar was much lower for Palin. So, in the contest of low expectations, Palin won.
