CBS Poll on Palin Asks the Wrong Question

Palin will be subject to an unprecedented level of personal and intellectual scrutiny exceeding any candidate in modern history. The left has to destroy her because women are their electoral base and they can no more allow a conservative woman to break the mold defined by socialist feminists than they could allow a black conservative man to break the mold defined by socialist civil rights leaders. If Palin is willing to do the book work, to learn the important domestic and foreign issues in great detail, to work with great speechwriters to put together substantive policy speeches and have the intellectual depth to answer detailed questions afterwards she should run because she will win the Presidency. If she wants to continue with breezy populist/conservative homilies she should get a TV program, become the conservative Oprah, make a billion dollars and be loved by millions. Either choice makes sense. The choice that does not make sense is to fail to do the homework then run and crash the conservative movement. Personally I hope she does the work and becomes President but if she wants to make a billion, given the bile she has endured, I would not begrudge it to her.

yeah that was good. For our nation I hope she does the homework. We need somebody to break the cycle.

Homerun.  Now, perhaps we can see why the MSM is so voracious in their coverage of her.  They are one of the 2 main wings of the liberal left's propoganda machine
