Can't help but notice how are once large group of diverse ideological patrons is now sorely lacking any passionate liberals. And the 2 that do enter, are largely angry and insultive in their responses, be it Tee towards America or Xo towards anyone not liberal.
I'm guessing that Obama has been a massive disappointment to them. They took his clean slate and applied what they expected to be the 2nd coming of Stalin perhaps. Ok, ok, that's a bit extreme, but here they had everything they could possibly want, Dem majority in the house, Supermajority in the Senate, and now a Liberal President, who campaigned on this "change" that he made clear was going to "fundamentally change" how Government works. Man, talk about reading between the lines. They had to be salivating
And what did they get?
Well, got some good rhetoric, great speeches, and more spending on Government than all other presidents combined
Yet, there's an obvious discontent, almost anger. How did this fella NOT get UHC? How has he NOT closed Gitmo? How has he NOT pulled troops out of Iraq? How has he NOT massively raised taxes on "the rich" yet? How has he NOT put Bush & Cheney on trial for their warcrimes??
All this, and now the Global warming house of cards is coming down, and we're actually increasing military involvement in Afghanistan & Pakistan. AND *GASP* he actually used the N word......he's advocating buidling brand new Nuclear Power plants.
One can see why the left has become very disheartened
At least that's my guess. Perhaps they're all having a great houseboat party on Lake Tahoe
