They Never Got the Memo

Israel's FM is now urging the U.S. to adopt a Cuba-style embargo on Iran.  I guess they never got the memo about how totally ineffective this embargo has been over the past fifty years.  They probably think it has hurt the Cuban economy.  But they're just fools, what the hell do they know?

???    But....but.....I thought Cuba was being stifled by their immediate neighbors.....that they were struggling because too much logisitical effort is required to trade with other countries.

Boy, it's hard to keep up with this tee-leaf logic at times

The Cuba embargo is a joke.

ANY fifty year embargo is a joke, by definition.

Boycotting the PRC from 1950 to 1968 hardly was effective, either, but it was a lot more serious than the Cuban embargo.

But Tee was claiming how horrific its been, how Cuba doesn't have the logistics to effectviely trade with anyone else but America, due to its proximity

Now we find out it's no biggie??

So, which is it??
