but hows costa rica`s educations system?

cuba`s system actually teaches american doctors.

If they make a Doctors circumstances good enough , they will not have to educate their own .

But also if medicine is enough of an industry , they can probly afford to support it with a good university or two.

What country right now restricts the immagration of PHD MD types?

=============================================
The US restricts the immigration of everyone who does not come with a lot of money.
It is one thing to get into a country, quite another to be allowed to practice medicine there.

There is not going to be any mass immigration of US doctors to Costa Rica: wait and see.

Costa Rica has a very good educational system by Latin American standards. I have hard nothing bad about their medical schools at all. Maybe Rush is ahead of me on that, but I think he probably likes other features of the country. Like the scenery and the women. By the way, do not visit in August: that is what they call "winter" there: it rains constantly and daily: I have never seen such rain anywhere.Only the Pacific coast is dry.

If by going they get to preserve their money makeing ability and freedom of action , then why not? Why not anyway? Is the weather so bad that no one should want to live there?

No, it is not the weather. I mentioned that because Costa Rica is utterly delightful EXCEPT when it is raining.

American surgeons would not make more money in Costa Rica. Those that had lots of money could simply invest it in the US and not work at all. Others would be far more likely to migrate to an English-speaking country, or just to move within the US.

A competent surgeon will always be able to make a better living in the US than in Costa Rica. After all, to live in Costa Rica, one would need to have a good working knowledge of Spanish. There are many more prosperous nations where English is all one would need.

Again, I simply do not see this happening, and expect that we will see that it does not happen in the future.
