And adding thirty-three million so-called liberals to the population, that's yet another plus?

They may be trainable , an exercise in nation building , or perhaps salvage....

Thirty three million , really?

That is almost exactly one tenth the US population , how many conservatives do you have?

Most of our conservatives would probably qualify as liberals in the U.S.  Most of our liberals would probably quallify as "socialists."

Double genius.  Not only are we not getting sucked into your decadent, child-murdering society where semi-moronic thugs who gleefully mow down dozens of innocent civilians are "heroes" and "America's finest" whereas the handful of people who ridicule and expose these crypto-Nazi perverts are recognized only by the gloating visions of the more "patriotic" citizens' contemplating their slow deaths of AIDS, a fitting reward for their "unamerican" views and lack of support for child murder, but in addition we manage to live much better lives outside your borders, longer lives, lives marked by the security of knowing that our government (that is to say, our fellow-citizens) care enough about one another that even the least of us will enjoy reasonably good health care paid for by all who can, cradle to grave.

Let us forever be the "poison pill" that our infantile neighbours won't swallow, even though the whole world knows that it's good for you.  Just be sure to keep the rooms clean in those Florida hotels, guys, and we civilized folks will still come down to spend a few bucks in your sinking economy.  It's about as much America as we want in our lives just now, thank you very much.

I'm thinking we are more interested in your resources than your parasitic population.

What I mean about hot air, blustering blowhards, etc.  Americans bin talkin that way about Canada since the War of 1812.  Having the balls to actually try it is, of course, another question entirely.

The War of 1812 is why Ohio is not Canadian.

Seriously , Canada is the best neighbor any nation has , the US is lucky to have the benefit of Canada as friend and critic and example.

But if Canada had Russia as a neighbor it would have been as eaten up as Russias neighbors were whether freindly or un.

If Tibet had lots of people who disagreed with the way China ran its central government would they have become such a poison pill that they would have been protected from adsorption and assimilitation?

How ironic, when it was everyone talking about Saddam's WMD's, that nearly everyone agreed he had, but it was Bush that "had the balls" to actually do something about it     ;)
