Now we're just being assholes.

How so? Is Iraq stable?

Doesn't matter.  The predominence of iraqis want us the hell out.  We're guests who are no longer welcome.  Get the F out.  Those bombs going off are a lot of the angrier ones saying, "Could you kindly hit the F'ing bricks?"

What is so hard about that for you?  The majority of the population want the troops out and they view the troops as invaders, if not terrorists.

As presently constituted, assuming recognition of the government, Iraqi society speaks through its legislative assembly in concert with its executive. And there has been no official action of which I'm aware to require the US to leave.

Isn't it "obvious"?      ;)       We might also want to add that the "predominance of Iraqis" are extremely happy to see Saddam no longer in power, and were supportive of our efforts to do just that

I do not consider this to be true, the predominence of Iriquis came out and voted , if the predominance of them were involved in attacking us it would be a lot worse for us there.

I think that the ones serious about attacking us amount to a few thousand , a mere drop in this bucket , but a few thousand are able to kill twenty people every day so they are a serious problem.
