And now decades later you want to steal what this guy cleaned up and stored for years.

====================================
No.I don't want to "steal" the casket. It seems to me that the undertaker already stole that.

I simply believe that the ghoulish undertaker should have explained that he was planning to sell the old casket, that it was likely to bring a good price, and that he would share the money with the heirs. The truth is that the original casket was not his to sell. If it belonged to anyone, it belonged to the heirs.

And selling a used casket is ghoulish and disgusting. I really don't think it should be permitted.

Perhaps the guy that bought the thing has too much money and it is good that he be soon parted from it?

I think it is likely that he plans to pit on display and charge admission to see it.
It is the idea of peddling used caskets that is the most ghoulish.

No.I don't want to "steal" the casket.

yes you do.
you want to take from an owner & divide up the winnings in your socialist views

It seems to me that the undertaker already stole that.

Yeah sure...LOL...he provides a brand new casket in exchange for a
rotting box waterlogged box...stores it for decades and he is the
"bad guy" 30 years later.

I simply believe that the ghoulish undertaker should have
explained that he was planning to sell the old casket

How do we even know he knew that almost 30 years ago?
I have things that are very old....sometimes I just decide I wanna get rid of them.
Old people do this all the time....they sell keepsakes that don't have the same meaning anymore.
I doubt this was some sinister plan as you seem so sure of.

that it was likely to bring a good price, and that he would share the money with the heirs.

The heirs were free to do whatever they wanted in 1981 and they obviously did what they did.
They could have bought their own new casket & stored the waterlogged rotting one for 30 years.
They did not.

The truth is that the original casket was not his to sell. If it belonged to anyone, it belonged to the heirs.

No it did not. The undertaker provided a new casket and took possession of the old one.
He had the coffin for going on 30 years. AFWK No family member ever disputed it or asked about it or for it.
