- Aldous Huxley

Then I realized they are braindead of course.

BARR BECOMES LIBERTARIAN
Tuesday, December 19, 2006 - FreeMarketNews.com

Former Rep. Bob Barr from Georgia left the Republican Party Friday to become a Libertarian, according to The Gwinnett Daily Post. Rep. John Linder (R-Ga.) defeated Barr four years ago in the Republican primary, ending his eight years in Congress.

Barr told the Associated Press he has no future plans to run for any office but he will serve as the South’s regional representative for the Libertarian Party. As this representative, Barr’s job will be to recruit candidates and promote the message of the party.

The former congressman led the charge to impeach former President Clinton, according to UPI. Barr serves as an advisor to the American Civil Liberties Union and the American Conservative Union and is a member of the board of the National Rifle Association. – JS

I am very pleased by this. Now instead of being an obsessed dangerous madman he will be just a harmless crank like all the other Libertarians.
