Now this is an example of what made this country the best of the best. Mr. Obama, these people don't need nor want you to apologize for them!!!

So footballs are not made of pigskin? That is a surprise. Everyone calls footballs "pigskin", and yet they are made from cowhide.

I know of no reason why anyone would expect Wilson to apologize for their footballs. It is not their fault that a football does not bounce like any other ball.

In the film Cast Away, Tom Hanks made an imaginary play buddy out of a Wilson soccer ball. When he was cast away on a tropical island, he had a toothache and told Wilson that he had missed an appointment with a dentist. Then he told Wilson "His name is Spaulding.".and when he finally makes it back to civilization, it turns out that his wife has assumed he was dead and has remarried... to Dr.Spaulding, the dentist. That was a nice detail of the plot.

Thanks to Tom Brady, and Payton Manning, NFL QBs can now bring their own footballs to a game. It used to be that game balls were brand new footballs. A new ball is slick and can be difficult to handle. But if you get a chance to work on a football for a few days before a game you can "break it in". So, if you have a big game coming up, rub your balls.

Since you are so full of information; who made the skate?
Oh and what was the name of the flight crewman that Hanks buried and borrowed his shoes?

You can look this up as easily as I can.

Educate yourself.

I was simply commenting on a clever aspect of the plot.

The brand of skate was not important. You can find the name of the pilot on imdb.com under CAST.
