i am not sure anyone is lying per se
plus if they are lying, they could have good reason to do so
but who knows....we probably wont ever know every single detail
two people at the same event sometimes see or remember things slightly different
some of the stuff coming out really begs the question "why are they going public with this"?
i am sure conflicting details of which there has already been much of....will continue.

I'll go on record....I don't think they are lying on the DNA.  That implies a nefarious agenda and timing for this "death".  If Bin Laden weren't dead, this would be one of the biggest political blunders in all of history, once he showed himself again, via some video.  If he were dead at some earlier time, and only now bringing out his death, its piss poor judgement on the timing.  You'd want to pull out his death sometime in the spring of next year.

I imagine that within a month or so, there will be a book or two outlining the entire mission, with reprints of the juicier parts in Time, Newsweek or some other US magazine. This is rather like a US version of Entebbe.
