yeah Kramer I have tried to convince one of my
older brothers on selling his house in the Bay Area
and retiring back to Texas.....he could sell his San Fran house.
get a much, much nicer and newer house in Texas and still
bank about $400K into his retirement...he is the "black sheep"
of the family being the lone liberal (although he's a great guy)
and his wife is even more liberal....so I assume
they will stay in San Fran........

His conversion is made more difficult by over 1700 miles.

Although since opening his own business my older brother
has made great strides in softening his liberalism....one
thing he said once that sticks out in mind is when he said:
"good grief I cant believe how "anti-business" Cali state
gvt is...I am trying to run a business and employee people
and all they seem to want to do is make it difficult, more
costly, and seemingly run me outta business".
