Rep. Turner's Family Asks for "Thorough Cleaning"
of Weiner's House Office SpaceBy Sara Sorcher

Newly sworn-in Rep. Bob Turner, R-N.Y., will be getting a clean start in Congress ? literally.
Turner this week won and took over New York?s 9th District seat, left open when Democrat Anthony
Weiner resigned in disgrace after a scandal involving his tweeting lewd photos of himself to young women?including some from an office chair.
The New York Post reports that Turner?s family,
?grossed out? when they discovered Weiner?s toiletries in the bathroom, ordered a ?thorough cleaning? of the House office space.
?Weiner left his toothbrush behind! It literally says ?Anthony? on it,? a source told the Post. ?We made the assumption who Anthony was.? In addition to sanitizing the bathroom, the Post reports that there was also ?
talk of replacing the carpeting and Weiner?s office chair.?Turner, a cable-television executive with no prior political experience, insisted that cleaning the office was ?not the most important thing I have to deal with" after winning a special election on Tuesday in a New York City congressional district that has been represented by Democrats for nearly a century.
Still, he did say one important lesson can be learned from his predecessor: ?
I do have a Twitter account. But I will use it fully clothed,? Turner said.
