Israel is not a "big ally".

au contraire....biggest ally in the region, in fact

Iran is not a threat to the US, period.

Already demonstrated how they can easily be

The US has appeased no one.

Obama is doing it insidiously

It has wisely chosen not to waste lives and money on another idiotic invasion.

Who's advocating invasion??

Obama NEVER had a moment when everyone adored him. sirs was an Obamahater from the moment he won the election

lol, and you adored Bush as soon as he won, right??

as were CU4, RR and others on this forum. You all wanted him to fail, just like Rush and McConnell wsanted

It wasn't the man, xo...It was his ideology.  We knew exactly what kind of horror it would bring to this country, both economically and militarily.  It's Carter all over again, but worse.  and it wasn't "wanting him to fail", near as much as knowing his and the hard core left's micromanaging socialist-lite policies would cause us to fail.  So yea, I wanted his policies to stop as soon as possible, and thankfully, so did the electorate, as they put in a GOP House to put a kabosh on those ruinous socialist policies, after only 2 years.  The only question now is, is it too late to fix what he and the Dem Congress pulled the 1st 2 years of Obama.  I want to remain an optimist, but......

;D   Great substantive professorial response.  I especially enjoyed the inability to respond to who's advocating invasion & on your not hating Bush even before he was elected

Quote
The United States is poised to announce a significant donation of food aid to North Korea this week, the first concrete accomplishment after months of behind-the-scenes diplomatic contacts between the two wartime enemies. An agreement by North Korea to suspend its controversial uranium enrichment program will likely follow within days.

..........
The U.S. would provide 240,000 tons of high-protein biscuits and vitamins — 20,000 tons a month for a year — but not much-wanted rice, according to reports in the South Korean media. It would be the first food aid from the U.S. in nearly three years.

.........
"North Korea's disclosure of a uranium enrichment program was bait" for negotiations and aid, said Jeung Young-tae, an analyst with the Korea Institute for National Unification in Seoul. "And the United States grabbed that bait."

You said it Jeung Young-tae, North Korea is planning to take the buscits and then find umbrage with the gravy , giving us nothing and playing us for suckers.

I could do better by myself.

    A letter to North Korea.

     Yo Kim!

I will trade you sixteen  tons of rice delivered to a port in North Korea, for each kilo of Plutonium you deliver to me in the port of Savanna.

If this propasition intrests you , have your people contact my people to hammer out the incidental details.

If you want substantial diffrence from this deal we can talk it over , a ton more or less I can be flexable about , but the basic terms have to be simple ! I am acutely aware of how sharply you have delt with my fellow horse traders Clinton, Carter and Bush.
