Weight is about 80% diet and 20% exercise. Walking is great, but aerobics are better.
I lost 7 pounds walking around Ecuador in three weeks. When I rode the "trole" it was standing up, as there are few seats. The whole country is uphill, it seems. Until you have seen the Andes, you have not really seen mountains. I imagine they say the same about the Himalayas.
As for the "wheat belly" thing, I think that this doctor's thesis is possibly true. The gene splicers are after greater crop yield, not healthier grain. More research needs to be done on this.
We all need to eat more fruit and vegetables than we do.
Sweetened sodas definitely cause people to gain weight. Even no cal sodas are not good for you.
