Staten Island Was Tragic Epicenter of Storm’s Casualties
Michael Appleton for The New York Times

By JAMES BARRON, JOSEPH GOLDSTEIN and KIRK SEMPLE
Published: November 1, 2012

I've been trying to reach, both home and cell, a friend of mine who lives on Staten Island for two days to no avail.
Well, we shall see.
