Another off the wall cartoon.This guy has talent: he is a fairly good artist and he is quirky, probably too quirky for the newspaper, but it is an interesting strip.These characters do not seem to make a very believable toon family, though.

Nor do I believe that cutting taxes is always good for the economy.

I don't really get the point of that, either.

I think I liked Calvin and Hobbes a lot better. Calvin's snowmen were always a hoot.

It takes at least as much talent to be a really good cartoonist as it does to be a great artist, musician or novelist. Certainly more than is required of jocks or pop singers, who rarely invent new moves or even write their own songs.

I agree, some cartoonists compose a gag for every day of the week and go on for decades, that is a lot of creativity.
