Comet this week

Pan Sars has already been seen in the northern hemisphere, it will seem to grow for the next few days .

Soon after sunset look west , by the 13th it will be near a cresent moon.

Keeping our eyes and binoculars peeled

I am a biy dissapointed.

I was not getting much of a view of the comet , the problem was lots of ambient light.

Then my nephew showed me a trick.

He set his cell phone camera to show a negative image , pointed it at the comet and voilla there was a clear view of the comet and its tail, in reverse color.
