That was a stupid thing for Pelosi to say, but really, the aides knew very well what was in the bill before it passed. It has nothing whatever to do with the bill. Nothing.
I credit Pelosi with being more than commonly honest in this , whether she intended to be or perhaps suffered a Freudian slip.
