made me think of a bigger question

http://blog.sfgate.com/techchron/2014/06/13/feminists-to-protest-s-f-tech-startup-seeking-girl-friday/?cmpid=hp-hc-bayarea

this made me think if a business needs someone to do a less glamorous job and it`s perceived as demeaning for minorities or whatever. wouldn`t this cut opportunities for said group. supposed hollywood to be fair to black banned them from all music related roles. wouldn`t this kill all internship programs?

I really do not understand what you are saying here.

My first jobs were cutting grass and washing windows. I scrubbed pots and pans, ran a dishwasher, stacked tires for Goodrich, clerked and delivered prescritions in a drugstore, and put wheels on Falcons and Comets. Those are all pretty humble jobs.

it`s the stereotypic type of jobs which may get abit tricky like hiring a asian intern to pick up dry cleaning and hope people don`t laugh at him for doing laundry. meaning don`t hire asian interns if dry cleaning is involved despite his willingness to do it.

note blacks do  voluntarily leave california and work in the south which openly say nigger just to have a chance to work.  sometimes it`s worth getting you pride chewed up alittle but not too much. despite what people say jokes can be harmful if taken too far

Not so much.

Racist problems are not gone , but not really prevalent as they once were.

I don't think that danger and disrespect are really worse in the south than the west or north at this point.

I'm sort of qouting my friends who talk about thier friends and familes who left california to various places in the south. I remember one time a friend visit family in new orleans and when she came back every other was nigger this and that for a month because it was such a common word there. I even remember an episode of realword which a cast member was not used to how freely that word is used so much in orleans.

I can't answer for everywhere , but I am old enough to remember when that was never called the "N" word and was used pretty casually.

Now it isn't worth the trouble , because it is trouble.

Paula Deen admitted to using the word years ago , and lost millions.

Is that ridiculous?  In which way is it ridiculous? Too much or too little?

My parents never did use that word where I could hear it , nor "ain't" I think they trained themselves before they trained me.

Too be honest I'm envious that word is considered soo bad. I have to justify why I'm offended. But i do see the humor about the struggle to make nigger a double meaning --friends /any offfensive meaning.

Ironicly blacks are getting offended when kids of all races are calling each other nigger .
