Doing what someone tells you to do is not the same thing as being nice to them.Doing what someone tells you to do is not the same thing as being a nice person in general.Doing what someone tells you to do is not an effective means of avoiding responsibility for your actions.In fact, doing what someone tells you to do - particularly if you do so in an exact and literal fashion - can be one of the most bratty, selfish, childish things you can do....which is not to say, of course, that you should never do as you're told. Just recognize and accept that following orders or requests is not, in and of itself, intrinsically meritorious.-Tailsteak
