Here's another 'Has anyone noticed'

Perhaps not as grand as the topic H was trying to push in his thread, but personally, it's an interesting observation.

You notice how the left decries how the Government is trying to snoop, to dare to actually monitor foreign calls coming in from suspected terrorists, literally trying to pry into our personal lives.  You notice how it's almost (read, NOT all) the same people who have decided they know better, and that they will impart their superior wisdom (and control) via the Government regulating just about everything in our lives.

Over here in California, we're watching a socialist revolution in the legislature, with some of the bills being proposed or already in law.  Everything from what lightbulb you can use, to how you're not to eat transfats, can't talk on cell phone in a car without a headset (though the distraction factor is pretty much identical), & who can forget our recent Anti-spanking bill.  Now we have the proposal to make the HPV virus mandatory to girls.  Parents need not be present, the Government knows better.

These bills represent a fraction of the population involved in the repercussions of morbid obesity, traffic accidents, Child abuse, etc.  But the nanny state knows better than you, than I, than us meager peasants.  But this kind of Government intrusion is advocated, even celebrated by the left.  Yet when it comes to trying to protect the country........Ooooooooh that evil Big Brother, and the moron Bush

Observe how this lame toon can't refute in any way the need for the vaccine shot, so it goes right on to the bit where the nurse is foisting BC pills on the young 'un.

The nurse is also guilty of spelling "skool farmacy" and her shots seem to be painful. Lame, lame lame.
I have yet to see a toon from this toonist that didn't suck, but this one is the lamest so far.

Stupid ad hoc argument.

Would you really want the government to give shots to kids whose parents objected?

The government is going to perfect an "obedience" shot someday , one shot and you cannot break the law.

Of course....government & libs knows best.  Perhaps we can just do away with Parents & parenting.  Folks like Lanya & Xo simply know better    :-\
