They are real weapons , but only a few can afford to be this kind of fussy.
I like old rifles , but what I would pay a gunsmith to do would be to true it up or correct for wear or fix corrosion.
If I owned one of these showpieces I could not use it in the woods, it might get dirty.
What I own , mostly "beaters".
Which is where the fun is , as far as I can tell you.
When you come in from the field you are tired and grimy, and happy. A day spent hunting is a day spent very well indeed.
