I totally fail to see any divine purpose whatever in God or Whatever allowing Islam to develop in the first place. Christianity is a rather silly mishmash of confused and contradictory statements by someone called "Jesus Christ" who was supposed to have been named "Emmanuel" and even more contradictions by that old woman-hater, Paul of Tarsus. If we assume that Christianity is the One True Religion, and I do not, then Islam which is a far worse mishmash of total illogical claptrap and disorganized nonsense. The only conclusion one can logically draw is that if there is Creator, the Deists were entirely correct, and he is off somewhere winding up other clocks.
