Seinfeld will stick to covering the topics he can feels he can make humorous, PC or not. “I talk about the subjects I talk about because for some reason I can make them funny,” he said. “The ones I can’t make funny, you don’t hear.”

I've been talking about jerry to my more comedy minded friends . I also point out comedy today is more wimpy . Comedy roast were a great deal more edgier. But on the flipside i have not problem with ethnic groups defending themselves from being offended. True this maybe a contradiction but then i realized when these remark became harmful it simply became to high a price. But im only talking about my experience. I still support the process and comedians right to say what they want but i also support the listeners right to walk away but nothing further than that. No running to the dean to forbid other students to hear it

Comedy is generational. My grandparents thought Bob Hope, Jack Benny and Arthur Godfrey were the funniest guys around. The only comic they liked that seems even a bit funny to me is Will Rogers, and of course, most of his political topics are beyond dated.

Seinfeld is not as funny to college kids because they are a newer generation. Some of them are probably more than a bit tired of Seinfeld, and it is not his fault. They run his shows in syndication, over and over and over, just as they did Gilligan;s Island, I Dream of Jeannie and I Love Lucy. Few jokes are funny the seventh time around.

Comedy in the US is getting more international, with East Indians, South Africans, Iranians and Chinese getting a laugh at the differences between the culture of their parents and the American culture they grew up in.

Seinfeld is to be commended for ending his series before it "jumped the shark" and became a cliche. He has more money than he ever could spend on any sort of a normal life.

Will Rodger never held any political office. He ran a mock campaign for president in 1928, pretended that he had won, ands then resigned as he promised to do.
He was in at least 20 talkie films and even more silent ones. He played congressmen several times, but he was NOT in Mr Smith Goes to Washington. The title roll was Jimmy Stewart for that film.  Rogers, like Gene Autry and Johny Weissmuller, invested in Southern California real estate and made out like a bandit. He had a very good mind for investments.

The Will Rogers Institute was founded with his money to do research in pulmonary diseases, and has spent millions since Rogers died in a plane crash in Alaska  in 1936 at the age of 57.
