The facts ate the facts.

The MORE GUNS are around, the more people will use guns to shoot themselves and others.

The politicians are responding to votes, not actual research. They even vote against the government doing research.
The NRA is financed by sellers of guns and ammo who are interested mostly in profit.  They cater to the paranoid and the fanatics.

And more people get shot.

None of this is fact.

The companies that sell shooting related products have no better place to advertise than the NRA magazine, even though  there are other magazines " American Rifleman " is  the best.

The advertisers need the NRA more than the NRA needs them, they have a lot of corporate advertisers and can afford to loose any two or three, they get a lot of dues from the membership too.

Nobody makes anybody join the NRA, it is the membership that is really in control.
