A Gallup poll released on October 20 shows that a majority of Americans
believe more concealed carry equals less crime.

I think the counter arguement has been portrayed as pollsters are simply bribed.  By who, and by what evidence/proof, we're never told.......how convenient is that?

Polled people are often wrong. In 1950, a majority favored racial segregation. In 1917, a majority favored Prohibition.

So....they're only "right" when they agree with a leftist position??

Polled people are only a snapshot of what the people of the country are thinking, at that particular time.  It's not a right or wrong thing, since that requires some 3rd party to proclaim what is right and wrong.  If you polled the people now, a majority would be against racial segregation & prohibition.  Does that make them wrong now??  Of course, not, since it isn't a matter of right vs wrong.  It's a position of what the people believe, at a particular time
