I cannot imagine why a woman Russian weightlifter would want to be a US Marine, so I agree. Most American women do not want to be Marines.

I say at this moment the women who can pass are not taking the course .  I know  a former the symbol of feminism would insist those course stay the same--gloria stienem. which got her at odds with the mainstream feminist.

my question in level of dificulty how different is it to navy seal training. whats the hardest training course?

I understand that Navy Seal training is more rigorous than Marine boot camp. The pass rate is lower, and I think the standards are higher.

Of course, the Marines and the sailors have always been sort of enemies when it comes to patriotism and grittiness. Each tries to outbrag the other.

I don't see Gloria Steinem as anyone who would ever consider becoming a Marine.

Marines can join the SEAL, it isn't easy for anyone.

Marines can also become RECON which is a special unit of Marine prepared to act independently.

Perhaps one in 150,000 women might have the mentality and the physical strength to join one of these.

Oh at least that many or more , but of those who can only a certain number would want to.

At least a few of those would rather be star athletes.

This could bring money and fame and certainly would be appealing to most  than being an anonymous Lady Jarhead.

I stand by my statement it`s too soon to really say women can`t pass the test since only resently women are applying. it could take a decade before enough females physically fit enough will be available to apply for these test

We might learn a lot if we are paying attention.

I would hazard a guess that one woman in fifty is strong enough to surpass the average man.

But that is simply my guess, I don't really know.

If women get drafted a lot , we would have to learn the facts on this.

I wouldn't say surpass but simply match. In most of the past the sexes had differing physical demands only recently women are doing similiar pursuits as men so it'll take time.
It's not  fair to say men are physically above since this is America and im confident men can be overall worst shape than women. Ill willing to bet thiers more 1000+lb. men than women.

I am pretty sure that no one who weighs 1000 lbs. is likely to enlist in the Marines.

Men are taller than women, so perhaps there are more 1000+lb. men than women.
I do not think that there are statistics to prove this either way.
