They're not necessarily correct but they're not unwarranted either.  The cartoon WAS vile, fascist, misogynistic etc. and you should have been stung enough by the dig to wonder why you were defending it anyway.

Sure they are.

Who was defending? As you put it in another thread, pointing out that the other side does it is not defending it.
