I don't worry about stings. I read about the foot-tapping thing years ago - seems it was common knowledge then, so the idea that anyone seems surprised about it now amuses me.

By the way, have you asked the officer who arrested the good(?) senator what his political affiliation was? I mean, in light of your '...Democrats conducting stings in the bathrooms...' comment?

Funny, never heard of it before. And I tap my feet in the bathroom all the time, especially when I have my headset on and am listening to some good music (which is frequently when travelling)...

No need. He was doing it under orders. The mayor of city and most of the higher ups in the police dept (the political appointees) are all Democrat. So, even if he is not a Democrat, he was undoubtedly ordered to perform the sting by a Democrat.

It's not a big force, and I do know quite a few of them. Quite possibly.

As I pointed out, however, the police chief is a political appointee of a DFL mayor. Undoubtedly, this type of sting operation is known about and endorsed by the police chief.
