Have you ever noticed the paint job on a NASCAR Racer?

===========================================
They are absolutely hideous and distract from any enjoyment I might get from watching a race.
They are the visual version of the complete awfulness that is AM radio.
This is the epitome of ugliness in advertising and wretched excess, and I bet the fans would like it just fine if the hideous suits and ghastly cars had no ads on them at all.

I don't think NASCAR is actually entertaining to watch, but the ads are a total distraction, and I am glad that this sort of crap is limited to NASCAR.

You have the opposite attitude of the tipical Nascar Fan , they take pride in the sponsor of their favoriate racer and buy the product in support .

They even brag about how much they use the product ,,,,but ,,, well exceptions exist........

Apparently, the crux of what justifies being censored (such as in the Fairness Doctrine) and what isn't, is simply what entertains Xo vs what bores him        :-\

I don't care whether NASCAR has a zillion logos on their cars and flamesuits or not. I think it looks hideous.

I would prefer US radio stations have many fewer ads and much improvement in their content.

Apparently tv broadcasting costs so little that Trinity Broadcasting System here in Miami can afford to have one NTSC station and FIVE digital stations all at the same time, paid for buy nothing more than viewer charity.

AM and FM radio must cost far less than that.

So all those commercials are not necessary.

And radio advertising is significantly less expensive than television.

As I said, what should and should NOT be allowed is what Xo's deems as proper "content".  Funny how proper that "content" is when consistently skewed to the far left, vs that skewed to the right

)Oh bullshit.

At most, a few NPR interviewees are of the mildly leftist persuasion.

The far left in the US is guys like Chomsky and the Socialist Workers Party, not NPR, which ALWAYS presents both sides of every issue.
Limbaugh is the paid voice of the oligarchy, designed to inform the dittohead masses what to believe, since they are not the typew that prefers to think for themselves.

The Far Right consists of dorkos who prefer to refer to Juniorbush as the Commander in Chief.
They would be overjoyed if Juniorbush had all the power than Mushariff claims in Pakistan, and some of them would like to see his ugly butt in uniform. He evfen obliged us by donning his flight suit on Mission Accomplished Day.

The point of an advertisement is to have it presented to the public.

RushLimbaugh has the public on his side and is advertisers come to him as supplicants.
