Not so surprising.  Not so funny.  It wasn't a lie.

I try to keep this discussion on a mature and reasonable level.  I say something, always try to back it up with examples or logic.  I'm not always right and I certainly have no objection to anybody - - yourself included - - trying to pick holes in my logic, challenging or invalidating my examples, etc.  Certainly I am not infallible.

But I think there has to be some kind of standard of reasoned debate in here.  What I say, my examples, my logic, my reasoning, is not in any meaningful way challenged, disproven or invalidated simply by calling it "a lie."  Why is it a lie?  Because you say so?   So who are you, and by what right can you - - with no facts, logic or reasoning - - simply invalidate another poster's point of view in your  lazy, dumbass way, by taking all of three seconds to dispose of a reasoned argument by typing "It's a lie?"

Perhaps you have some exaggerated idea of your reputation in this group.  Perhaps you feel that the members are so awed by your intelligence, your knowledge, your grasp of the facts, your reasoning and logical abilities, that they are ready to accept that another member's reasoned post must be "a lie" simply because you say it is.  Well, quite frankly, I wasn't aware of any such exalted reputation, earned or unearned, possessed by you.  In any case, I think your "debating skills" are amply demonstrated by your recourse to personal insults instead of argument or fact.  That's too bad.  I had felt this group was slowly getting beyond that.
