You could if you wanted to, but based on your resistance to anything being done to protect us from these people you could stand on your head and it wouldn't make any difference.
And how, pray tell would I do that, supposing that I wanted to? Would I send flowers to Dick Cheney with the note "Keep it up, Dicky", or should I cuss out Fuad, Faisel and Farouk, down a the Kwik-E-Mart?
I could leave threatening notes on the windshields of cars in the lot of the Masjid down on NW 119th Street. I know an Iranian that is sort of a smarty pants. I could cuss him out, perhaps, but I think Homeland Security has checked him out rather thoroughly He flies to Teheran once a year to see his parents.
The truth is, tThe odds are far greater of me being killed in traffic than in any terrorist attack.
I would rank being killed in a terrist attack about as likely as ebing hit by a chunk of "blue ice" from an airplane lavatory. It would be a more humiliating way to go, but my daughter could sue the airline's insurance co., which is probably more flush than any terrorist's carrier.
What I have done is to not work in tall and notorious buildings, I have stayed off the London Tube since 1982 and the Madrid Metro since 2000, and not serving in the military kept me out of the Pentagon. I don't thi9nk terrists actually are likely to harm anything where I might be in Miami.
I have never believed that standing on my head would make anyone safer. Perhaps you know something about this that I don't.
