I wish they had not.

Ok , their reasons for destroying evidence might be genuine , but they arouse the suspicion when they destroy evidence that the evidence was incriminateing and not just dangerous to security.

I feel that when evidnce is destroyed on purpose the suspicon that it is incriminteing becomes automaticly credable .

I would like to ask those who have more leagal knolege , how is destroyed evidence , when there is evidence that it was purposefuly destroyed ,considered in court?

Can it be assumed to be damning because it was destroyed?

It says here, "While key lawmakers were briefed on the CIA's intention to destroy the tapes, they were not notified two years later when the spy agency went through with the plan."

And they didn't raise hell and tell their constituents what was in the works?  They just let it happen?
What a nightmare.
