I don`t want the suit
I want the house
An engineer was qouted in saying everything in the movie is doable except the powersource.
that`s the only unbelieveable thing.
still a fun movie
people were clapping in the theatre

There's a thread in Culture Vultures about this.

I thought you need hydrogen for that
he didn`t seem to be using that
more like zero point
or something similiar
but again totally fantasy power source
the prototype was giving out crazy amount of power
I want to know do we have the technology to convert energy to thrust
like impluse drive in star trek
are we still dependent on chemical propulsion?

Ion propulsion has been used on interplanatary probes like Japans Hyabusa (falcon) that explored an asteroid. Ion propulsion still requires reaction mass.
