Glad you liked Haband. I find them indispensable for pants and shorts.

I don't know that this will save you money, but if you download the program wootalyzer.com, it will tell you what the deals of the day are on woot, yugstar, and many other daily deals sites. It's free and does not send a lot of spam.

It will save you time.

Cotton clothes are best found at thrift shops, in my opinion. Anyone can check for missing buttons, stains, tears and holes.

As I live in a fashion conscience town. I thought my clothes would stand out.
I was so wrong.
people liked the stuff I wear from haband.
I wasted all this timer trying to keep up.
fashion is all B.S.
though I do find cotton comfortable to wear .
I definately take you advive xo
are you the one who advice me to use TCMP for my pocket pc?
I would never of gotten my computer skills at my present level if it wasn`t for that little program.

=================
That was someone else, I am guessing Ami or Hnumpah. I have never even touched a pocket PC.

Haband, that was my idea. They make durable clothes in sizes that do not need alteration at good proces, and they will take it back at anytime if you don't like it.
I suppose there is a degree of reason involved there, but I have not tested them on returns except for the one time they sent me a pair of shoes that hurt my feet, They sent me a refund, and I bought a different style, which fit just fine.

Clothes at a thrift store need more careful inspection than clothes at a new clothes store. Sometimes they lack pockets, buttons, and the zipper is stuck. Occasionally, the size label is wrong and an XL is really an M or an L or an XXL. I always bring a measuring tape. If you crave cotton, don't buy anything not marked 100% cotton/ coton/ algodon

Men tend to wear stuff out, and do nor fret so much over fashion.A lot of the stuff seems to be items that were gifts that the guy just would not wear. Pink shirts, pocketless polos, French cuffs, pirate "puffy shirts", all of it ends up in the Red, White & Blue shop in North Miami. The place is packed ten hours a day with customers, a majority of them Haitians and West Indians buying stuff for resale.
They have ten cashiers and there is usually a line at checkout twenty or thirty people long. There are no fitting rooms and no refunds.

Haband offers interesting innovations in their clothes: extra pockets, snaps, expanding waistlines, built-in belts, different fabrics. Most is made in China, but I have bought pants sold by them made in Mongolia, Syria, Thailand, Bangladesh and Russia.

I have not bought clothes in any mall (other than closeouts at discount malls) since 1977.

You are only paying for rent, fancy acoutrements and insurance when you buy in a mall. You can't wear any of these.

The most striking difference I have found so far is on prescription eyeglasses. Tungsten frames, memory frames, line-free bifocals, latest styles with a hard case from 39.95glasses.com and other websites for under $100. Price in the mall: over $300. All you do is print out a RX form, go to an oculist, (there is a 29.95 deal on the Web) and then fill in the blanks and mail it in.

I get them for 9-10 dollars
just type cheap glasses on google and a few sites sell glasses at that range prices.
and quite afew don`t look bad at all.
but they are alittle uncomfortable for me to wear.
something about the plastic is too rough
but I just coat the contact areas with nail polish and I`ve had no problems at all.
which is great for me.
I got dozens of glasses due to the fact i keep misplacing them.
it almost look like that sanford and son scene where red pulls out a ball of glasses and picks through them too find which one to wear.

Mostly, I buy reading glasses at the flea market for about $3.00 to $5.00 a pair. Like you, I tend to lose them, sit on them and otherwise mistreat them. I will check out cheapglasses.com, thanks.

The internet is a great place to figure out a lot of things: how much to pay for stuff and car parts and to pay for repairs and such. If you look carefully, all sorts of good deals and free info can be found.
