General non-political Bt question
« on: September 27, 2008, 05:29:24 PM »
Is it appropriate for any poster to threaten another poster, be it physically or occupationally?  I kinda know the answer to the former, but our resident class clown has facilitated the latter.  If not, any repercussions to be expected?  Just curious

NO

Technically, he didn't. He alluded to the potential.

Well "technically", one could allude to the potential of physical harm, but not technically have threatened anyone, I suppose.  Kinda like in the Godfather, where one can assume a threat, even when none is technically made.

But as I said, I was curious.  Thanks for the honest answer

The overlaying principle of this forum is to encourage vigorous debate about contentious issues while maintaining a modicum of civility.

Flame wars and petty clashes are not conducive to that.

Did Knute encroach on the spirit of that directive?
Yes.

Did he say he was going to contact AMI's employer?
No.

If Knute is determined to be a detriment to the mission of this forum he will be dealt with post haste.

I'm getting the feeling the class clown feels left out in spewing more idiocy in some of these threads.    So sad
