Doesn't change the fact that McCain picked someone without that all-important "experience" which he had been emphasizing was what Obama so sorely lacked.  Without his being able to boast that she's got more than Obama, because he already had derided Obama for a gross lack of it.  "More than the guy with nothing" is NOT any kind of endorsement - - whatever Palin's got for experience, it's clearly minuscule.

The issue isn't Palin, it's McCain.  If experience is as important as he says it is, why'd he pick someone as inexperienced as Palin?  He CAN'T get out of it by saying she's got more than Obama because he's always said Obama was way below par on experience.  If he picked anything less than the best available, OF COURSE Americans will question his judgment.

Why would McCain pick a veep who had lots of experenience? He has plenty of his own.

BHO picked a veep who can be his tutor during his training period , Biden thinks his training period is gonna be very tough.

That would be because McCain is 72 years old. His experience dies with him. Palin has no real knowledge of the world.
A VP should be able to take over if the president dies. Everybody dies, and old people do it more than young people.

The vice presidency has not usually been an apprenticeship to the presidency. You could ask President Quayle about that, or maybe Presidents Agnew or Garner.
