House
Lost

That's about it, every so often Showtime has a good show that I like, a few years ago it was Rome, last year it was the Tudors.  It'll be interesting to see what they have next.

I like house
someday I`ll do a house marathon.
have you made the connection with house to sherlock holmes?
I thought it was pretty cool.
it has so many clues that I never bother connecting.

I don't watch a whole lot of TV, but I generally always try and catch:

Doctor Who (watched it when I was a kid and Tom Baker played the Doctor, I really enjoy the new ones)
Primeval
Deadliest Catch
Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares

Otherwise I'll catch a documentary or a movie here and there.
I smell something burning, hope it's just my brains.

   Coat my eyes with butter
   Fill my ears with silver
   Stick my legs in plaster
   Tell me lies about Vietnam.

House is a fusion of Holmes with Dr. Watson. He is a drug addict and a genius with a low opinion of the reasoning abilities of others.

PBS has been running an excellent Holmes series lately.

I wonder if the Sir Arthur books still have Holmes injecting himself with heroin or cocaine? I imagine that makes the ban list in some places.

Holmes used a 7% solution of cocaine. It was not illegal when the stories were written.

There was a cocaine tea called Te Maria that was endorsed by the Pope, right on the bottle.

My favorite new show is Pushing Daisies. Similar to the French films Amalie, and A Very Long Engagement, with an animator who provides notes as the story proceeds. Very well done, with an interesting love triangle and a clever plot.

Having been a tot at the birth of TV, I am one to endulge, but weed through the important/entertaining/lessons to be learned/up and dated news.

1. I Love Lucy---I have to laugh..and she's my gal. solid

2.  Regis and K....minus the K....Philbin reminds me of my father----Irish and all....besides, I met him once in person. Love Regis. ...when I can listen to him with my coffee in the morning.

3. History Channel

4. Project Runway

5. NEWS, NEWS, NEWS Direct tv shows offers the news up like a platter at a pot luck.

6. Hitchcock movies on AMC

I have never watched one sitcom or drama com like ER, Law and Order etc.....Don't think I could take that much television.

But, I endulge in crappy tv more often than not.

Reading is the way I spend my time...be it on the net or sitting on my backyard porch swing.

Stephanie Meyers----Edward is sexy as hell.....even though he's a vampire.
