I have a good friend in Philly who's father played with Nat...in fact my friend grew up with the likes of Nat and others in his own home as a youngster. He had no idea of their fame....My friend was just lucky enough to be in the "other room" while his father and Nat King Cole played into the night.
What a world in which we live. God, I love my music. I am breakin out the old LP's again this season.
Makes me want to get back to playin' jazz/blues piano again..
