I guess God is pretty low on Obama's list of priorities.

You will find that only a small percentage of Americans go to church on Christmas Eve. That is largely a Roman Catholic thing. The assumption that a failure to go to church has anything to do with the priority someone gives to God is erroneous.

how about the rest of the year each Sunday he plays golf over going to church. You see presidents represent things and it's a full time job being POTUS. Obama has already played more golf than Bush did in 8 years, 2 terms. Maybe you should judge Obama using the same yard stick that you used for Bush.

1.  Who counted how many rounds of golf Bush played in his 2 terms?  Where is that recorded?  And who keeps a similar count of Obama's games?

2.  Out of all the things that Bush has been judged for - - lying the nation into a pointless war of unprovoked aggression, lack of preparation for Sept. 11, lack of attention to New Orleans during and after Katrina, torture and murder of prisoners of war, spying on his own people, etc., I'd say that insufficient church attendance would have to be the most minor and inconsequential accusation anyone could ever make against this murderous war criminal and in fact I don't recall it's ever having been made.   Who in his right mind would give a shit?

are you kidding me the press knows how many times Bush farted during his two terms

Obama has had two terror attacks and didn't stop them and obviously wasn't prepared for either of them. This last one would have killed a bunch of people if not for a failure in the bomb device and for citizens doing Obama's job.

I just don't see any proof anywhere of how many rounds either of these guys played.  Besides, Obama's a much smarter guy than Bush, probably gets the same work done in half the time, so why shouldn't he use up some of those extra hours out on the golf course, relaxing and getting his brain rested and in shape for the next challenge?

I believe smart people give speeches without teleprompters. Teleprompters is like using training wheels or driving from the women's tees or fighting a war without a uniform, behing women, children & old men.

Well, a lot of politicians on both sides of the aisle are using teleprompters now.  It's a tool and IMHO, the measure of the man is how he uses the tool, not whether or not he can get by without it.  Michelangelo was said to have had the ability to draw a perfect circle without the use of a compass, but as impressive as that was, I would not judge the work of another artist of comparable stature by whether or not he needed a compass to make perfect circles.

I also believe there are different kinds of speeches.  There's persuasive speech, where you are trying to win someone over to your POV and you need to appear unscripted and genuine for that, even if you refer occasionally to notes or outlines.  Imagine a lawyer pleading for his client's life to a jury, using a teleprompter.  He'd be ridiculed and the jury wouldn't pay any attention to anything he said.  But there are other kinds of speeches, inspirational speeches, the kind that a leader might deliver to inspire the citizenry generally, and this kind of speech has to be more of a performance, less reality-grounded because you want the audience to believe that they can be more than what they are, they can "reach for the stars."  In these inspirational speeches, the teleprompter, if used well, can make the performance more flawless, the speaker appear more "heroic" and less ordinary and if it fulfills that function, then it's done its job.

Is sincerity and genuineness preserved?

President Bush was much better at off the cuff comments , but not as good at agreeing with you.

Does this really prove any deficiency?

I'm sure that any speech by a leftwinger would be better than a speech by a rightwinger to you. now Reagan could deliver a speech but frankly putting reagan and obama together in the same sentence would be like comparing gomer pyle to gen patten.
