I have received emails calling into question my moderating skills.

HELL NO BT should not be replaced.

Let the greener pastures go start their own message board!

Although we have had a few disagreements....BT is the best.

This topic does not even deserve a poll.

In my mind "no BT" means "no 3DHS".

I'm not going vote replace or not replace. This should be about improvement, positive change, not yes or no.

Concur with CU4 completely.

The entire club happened because of BT.  He picked up the pieces of PIC and made it something better, more intimate, less chaotic.  I lament that some of the more interesting posters have gone, and I have whined myself here lately.  But there has never been a moment I have questioned BT's skills, commitment or leadership.

I do not know for sure what the emailer(s) said, but I would venture a guess that either they complained about too much banning or not enough control.  Either way, they are wrong.  I think BT has generally tried to allow us to govern ourselves - which, whatever the outcome, is the way I think any site should be run.  BT has stepped in when behavior got extreme, and I have always trusted his judgement in the matter.  As time has gone on different approaches have been tried - and that is a normal part of a growing process.  Nobody here is any better qualified to be a moderator than BT.  And of course, his name is hanging on the sign outside next to the word "Proprietor."

There isn't even a question.  I don't believe a vote is necessary or even appropriate.

I am pissed off that I can't spell America with three K's but not enough to question BT as the moderator of the group.  He's doing a good job with a very difficult bunch of prima donnas (myself included) and I think he deserves a fucking medal.

I may be joining you, Miss Henny     :-\   Here we have Pooch helping to explain, very artfully, that which is currently absent in the saloon, passionate debate, founded in civil discord, and what pops up.....3rd grade crying about why one can't spell America they way they want, or why can someone be allowed to call America a bunch of nazi racists.  Apparently to some, that's what "debate" means to them

One can only wonder where they learned that from.  Public Education?
