I'd almost swear I saw this very same comic except Calvin and Hobbs were the characters.   At least it's real close, isn't it?

I am sure that Wiley has a total knowledge of everything Waterston has ever drawn. Some of his toons are more like Bizarro, others more like Bloom County.

His toons have several themes. Many involve Danae, who is sort of a mini-Goth. Danae's younger sister is less weird, and there is also their middle-aged softig father. Some involve a weird old Down-East Main sailor who goes through life with a cat on his shoulder and a short-order waitress. Others are one-panel satires.

Hence, I suspect the title "Non-Sequitur"

But I nearly always enjoy them.
