Better than McCain/Palin. I'd say he has Huckabee, Palin, Barbour, Gingrich and several other very minor possibilities (Cain, Christie) beat in terms of a message. The message is pretty much patriotic hokum, but at least it is positive. He is not going to put a man on the moon, and that is not what the country needs.

The man to beat now seems to be Romney, but that is too far in the future to make valid predictions.

Republicans like to shoot themselves in the foot, and occasionally, feet.

Is men on the moon what mankind needs?

Maybe it is, room to grow is infinate if we gain space , resorces..... literally ...the sky is the limit.

I am thinking that colonizing the Moon is not a pressing issue at the present time.
Visiting Mars can probably best be done with unmanned vehicles for the next 30 years or so.

I am not going to allow this issue to decide my vote.
