Well, let's use whatever term you might think is appropriate for the GOP's predominant number of officials who have been indicted, convicted and/or jailed since 2000 compared to the relatively small number of DEM officials who have suffered the same fate?  It would seem with the GOP in control of everything in the last 6 years that the numbers might be reversed.  What can this mean then?

It means there are crooks on both sides of the aisle and the K St. crowd have been concentrating on one party. Now that party is no longer in power, they'll concentrate on the other party.

I note that neither Hastings, Jefferson, or Murtha has stepped down yet. At least the Republicans all seem to step down when they're suspected or indicted.

The kernel of this argument is the failure on BOTH sides to even vaguely acknowledge the failures on each's own side whilst decrying the other's side as the height of hypocrisy.

Naa, the kernal here is that when Republicans are found violating law and moral standards, they're consistently criticized & condemned by the folks who may have supported them prior.  Outide of your occasional token criticisms, the left largely rationalizes away the illegal, unethical, & immoral conduct by Dems, because...hey, they didn't campaign on it, so their bar is much, MUCH lower.  Thus apparently unnecessary for such condemnations

Good for you. You don't have a moral hypocrisy that so many Dems have. Instead of kicking Reid out, they made him their majority leader. Instead of kicking out Jefferson, Dems reelected him.

With Jefferson, Reid, Murtha, Waters, Mollohan, and the rest, this might be the most corrupt congress ever.

Strange, I go out of my way in condemning certain acts and policies of Bush I find irresponsible or unprincipled, but that always gets me a "token condemnation", and the continued label of Bush lover, by yourself.  How is this any different?

Can you produce one thread you started where you condemned Bush?  And I know we don't like Hilter/Bush comparisons but from what I've seen your condemnations of Bush would be tantamount to a German in the early 40's saying they didn't like Hitler because he was a socialist.  "I support him in his killing of the Jews, invading of neighboring nations and the general creepiness amongst the people he engenders; but I just wish he wouldn't use the government's money to cure society's ills.  Geez, the nerve of that guy!"

In the prior saloon (since our current saloon is still relatively new), I could provide you copius examples of where I severely criticized Bush, for specific policy decisions and proposals, and even initiated threads of such. And every one of those were either ignored by you, or when you did respond, would imply it was some token condemnation, that I really didn't mean it. 

So again, what's the diff with your apparent token condemnation of Dem wrongdoings?
