Daniels and Pawlenty are noted for putting audiences to sleep. Remember how all you righties were so gung ho over Giulani and Fred "the next Reagan" Thompson?

I said he had no chance, but back then some clown who called himself It's Zep just loved his sorry ass. Giulani's main problem was that all he wanted to talk about was 9-11, 9-11 and 9-11

I voted for Rudy. I didn't agree with him on everything, but he was conservative where it counted. He ran a very bad campaign. It wasn't a bad idea for him to talk about 9/11 since he led greatly that day. It's that he didn't campaign in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Caralina or Nevada. He made his showing in Florida, because he thought he was going to get the endorsement of gay Charlie Crist. Crist lied. 

Of course, you loved Dennis Kucinich and thought he would be the Democrat nominee. How did that pan out?

I did not say that I thought Kucinich would win. I said I liked his style and I voted for him. And I STILL like his style. I agree with him on a variety of issues, but not all of them.

I believe I stated that he would be unlikely to win because he is short, and named Dennis (as in the Menace) and has a Slavic name, which some voters (not me) would stereotype as inacceptable as a president.

Voting in a primary to me is a way of demonstrating to whomever wins where I personally stand on the issues.

But when a conservative or republican votes for someone in the GOP primaries, because of similar agreements on issues, and hopeful they might become president, despite being a potential long shot, the difference is ................. what again?

  I once decided that I would vote for Allan Keys when the Atlanta Constitution treated him with negative respect.

    I liked him already , but that the Paper was so contemptuous of him was a tiebreaker.

I don't think I would vote for anyone because of what some newspaper said, but you are free to do so if it suits you.

   I didn't think he would win , I thought the paper deserved a slap.

    If as you say very many of us are voteing on the basis of hight , what the name rymes with, or the melinin ratio of their skin , then I don't feel bad for voteing as a purely negative political statement.

     Frankly I am tired of how many people vote for the smoothest presentation on commercials , this is but the Gunias stamp.
